There is only one pattern set on this and I had to realign 5 times using the 7 before I got a rasonable alignment. Fourth and hardest, I got a locking curved clamp onto both the clear tube and second one onto the white plastic nipple. Cleaned under the heads, but problem still persisted. It’s of course possible that the Printhead Assembly may simply be clogged or partially clogged, but no way to really know. I did NOT use any inside any of the hoses.
My epson stylus CX has an error message that reads “printer error see your documentation and call service if necessary”. Third of all – go out and buy some coffee filters and Q tips – seriously now – you’re going to need them. There are other cleaning solutions available elsewhere, but they are not as good as the actual Epson Solution for flushing out the cz5200 printhead nozzles, or trying to dissolve possible clogs in those nozzles I had the same problem, and just fixed it, took about 40 minutes.
Looking for a tech bargain real soon? Why in the world can’t we buy a decent printer and not have to spend either the time or money to maintain it? Under the ink tray there is a clear rubber tube that apparently sucks the ink to the roller.
